WELCOME

A friendly place to worship!

Coming to St. Stephen's for the first time?

Whether you're searching for a new church home, a student on any of the local campuses or just passing through, we invite you to worship with us!

It's intimidating to walk through the doors of an unfamiliar church. We know that. This section of the site is just for you, to answer some of the questions you're asking. You might be wondering when we worship, which service to attend, where St. Stephen's is located, or what should you wear. We will try to answer your concerns and questions so that you can relax and enjoy your first visit with our wonderful, spiritually-enriched congregation.

May God bless you in your searching, be safe and be well.

Where is St. Stephen's

We are located in a residential neighborhood.  Three blocks north of Central and three blocks west of Rock Road on Killarney Place, situated on a knoll on the north side of Killarney Place.   [contact us]

The Parish Office is open Monday through Friday, 9 am to 1 pm.  If you would like to meet with Rev. Mary, she is usually in the office Tuesday through Friday, 9 am to 1 pm, and by appointments in the afternoon.

Come by, meet us and tour our church!

When can I visit?

Worship Times
You get the best sense of a community by coming to a worship service. There are three Sunday services.

  • 8:30 am on Sundays - a traditional, quieter service of Holy Eucharist Rite I (a service similar to the 1928 Book of Common Prayer service).  This is in the nave (sanctuary).
  • 10:30 am on Sundays - a service of Holy Eucharist Rite II (a service using contemporary language) with music and a seasonal choir, also in the nave.  Child care is provided.
This service is followed by our "Coffee Hour" and  greeting each other in our Parish Hall.
  • 5:30 pm on Sundays - Sunday Night Lights Service in our Holy Spirit Chapel is based upon Enriching Our Worship.  If you aren't an early riser and can't make Sunday mornig service, join us for this casual service!   It is follwed by a "potluck" meal.
