Susan Jean Moore Gaskill
February 14, 1951- September 15, 2024

Susan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who always had chocolate chip cookies on hand. She was a proud and active PEO sister for nearly 50 years. Susan loved baking, gardening, spending time with the bowling girls, the church posse, and especially the grandchildren. On the weekends you’d often find Susan and her husband, Rick, at the lake cabin or cheering on the Wildcats.

Susan was an active member of Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church. Over the years, she taught Sunday school, was a vestry member and was instrumental in founding the annual Ice Cream Social, which brought the church and community together. She had a radiant personality that always made everyone feel seen and loved.

Susan, 73, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024, preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Elna Moore. She is survived by her husband, Richard "Rick" Lynn Gaskill; children, Trevor (Shelly) Gaskill of Manhattan, KS, Brianna Gaskill of Wichita, Jarred (Emily) Gaskill of Derby; grandchildren, Anistyn, Garrett, Kinsley, Coral, Cove, and Cali Gaskill; brother, James (Jenni) Moore of Westmoreland, KS; nephews, Benjamin Moore Golden, CO, Brian Moore of Westmoreland.

A memorial has been established with St. Stephen's Church to purchase and install new playground equipment, 7404 E. Killarney Pl., Wichita, KS 67206.
